Last Thursday was national Childrens day in Costa Rica. How lovely is that? 
We have a Mothers day as well as a Fathers day in the UK as do the States but it has never actually crossed my mind to have one for our children. Funny that considering I have two of them. It is very much celebrated here and Leon’s school, Hermosa Valley, had a party for the kids, parents and teachers. Was brilliant fun and another reminder of how the Costa Rican’s prioritize the important groups in society.
