This season we recently added a really special dining experience for our guests at Costa Rican Vacation – a candlelit BBQ dinner on the beach, under the stars. It was something that my husband dreamt up a while back that we only got to put into practice for his 40th birthday. We had some very dear friends come and stay with us who wanted to put a dinner on for Jeremy (my husband) and this was the perfect opportunity to try the experience for ourselves.
We made mojito’s to enjoy watching the sunset, dressed the table with candles and flowers, with candles also set in the jungle canopy in glass jars. There was a bonfire and even fire torches to create a stunning beachfront restaurant of our own under the stars with the full moon rising in the background and the entire beach to ourselves.
Pablo cooked an amazing meal with an incredible chocolate and strawberry cake to finish everything off.
It was very special and we have since created several such experiences for our guests staying at various of the villas we manage. All had an incredible time and we look forward to next dry season, to creating some more magical evenings on the beach. That’s what its all about!
