Beach cleaning starts at home
90 children from Leon’s local school, spent the morning cleaning their gorgeous beach from various plastics to old shoes washed up from the sea. It was great fun but more importantly, showed the children that keeeping rubbish off the beaches is extremely important. Did you know the Nicoya Peninsula is one of only a few Blue zones in the world? Well now you do. They are places in the world where people live longer and healthier than anywhere else on earth. I know that I am living my life with more balance and I have even lost over 15lbs since arriving here. Now if that isn’t a living breathing blue zone example, then I don’t know what is.
