Never thought that I would see the day that I was grateful for rain coming but wow, it is such a relief after a hot season here in Manzanillo.
It is also amazing to see how nature changes each month too. The landscape is becoming greener, with amazing flowers errupting in deep reds, purples and blues. More exciting for a London girl like me are the creatures that come out. Here is the little freshwater turtle that had lost its way in the rains was out in our garden the other morning. The kids went crazy for him. Leon tried to put him in a box and take him to school! Obviously, I put him straight back into the jungle….
And here is the little frog that entertained me and my other half last night.
