Packing for a vacation is never perfect and you always end taking a pile of clothes you never end up wearing or even worse, don’t bring exactly what you need.Either way, here are five things you MUST pack when traveling to Costa Rica:

1) Suntan creams and mosquito sprays. They are really expensive over here in Costa Rica and you will go through lots.

2) Good walking shoes / sandals. There is so much to see but if your feet are not happy, you won’t be.

3) Really very little, in terms of clothes. In the dry season, you can’t even really wear a T- shirt it is so hot, even at night. Loose, easy to wash and dry, light weight stuff is all that is required. You will end up spending your days in bikinis and sarongs anyway.

4) A good metal water bottle. You don’t want to buy lots of small plastic water bottles when you are here. Just need to fill yours up when you go out anywhere.
